How did we get here?
Where do we go from here? More status quo?
How many more preventable shootings/killings by known evildoers will we allow?
How many more preventable acts of violence, suicides, overdoses, and other tragedies will we allow?
Back in 2011 I wrote a blog and asked why so many tragedies (failed preventions) were missed opportunities because red flags and warning signs existed and resources existed.
In 2019 I authored and released my book called “The First Preventers Playbook: How to Intervene, Disrupt, and Prevent Tragedy Before it Strikes” using 20+ years of research on thousands of failed preventions.
My research and book expose a different, better, and proven framework that is needed to make people safer and communities safer.
We will not make people safer by empowering First Responders to respond faster; to make people safer, we must empower First Preventers to achieve Pre-Incident Prevention.
First Preventers are all of us and we FAR OUTNUMBER the evildoers, but we as First Preventers are NOT CONNECTED and we are NOT CONNECTING ALL THE DOTS AND NOT ACTING. The dots include thousands of Sources, thousands of silos of Pre-Incident Information, and thousands of Resources.
Many tragedies in cities today come with warning signs that were seen but not acted on, keeping communities stuck reacting instead of preventing. Pre-Incident Prevention isn’t about politics — it’s about saving lives, reducing costs, and strengthening trust.
As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and continuous improvement, we commissioned an independent review to gain and share unbiased insights into our services. Please take 15 minutes to listen to this independent review of Awareity’s visionary and proven services.
